This combination is an absolute must try!
The espresso dark balsamic gives that coffee flavour that works so well with beef especially (but do try it on other meats and veggies).
The maple dark balsamic provides that delicious maple sweetness. Add the olive wood smoked olive oil to the two balsamic vinegars to give some smokiness to the marinade and help coat the meat --- you'll never go back to processed massive produced sauces and marinades.
Simply delicious -- without added sugars or other sweeteners, no caramel colouring --- no additives except real ingredients.
Mix your ingredients in a small bowl.
Place steaks in the marinade and make sure it is well coated.
You can do this with a plastic bag that is resealable. Make sure its sealed tight. Or more environmentally friendly, use a shallow bowl or dish and turn the steaks every so often.
Minimum marinating time is 1 hour and up to 12 hours.
If you're planning to cook it in an hour leave the marinade out at room temperature.
The longer you leave it in the sauce the more the flavours will absorb and will tenderize the steak.
Add the meat to the grill and cook until 125 degrees Fahrenheit for medium-rare. Check colour / doneness by cutting into the meat and pull the steaks off the grill when the desired colour is obtained.
