Peruvian Pepper Jam Grilled Cheese

A surprisingly delicious combination of sweet, spice and savoury! 

Recipe by Divina Foods makers of Peruvian Pepper Jelly.

 1 ½ tbsp Divina Peruvian Pepper Jam
 2 slices of Canadian Cheddar
 2 slices of Mozzarella
 2 slices of sourdough bread
 2 tbsp butter

While heating 1 tablespoon of butter in a nonstick or cast-iron skillet over medium-low heat, sandwich the pepper jam and cheese between the sourdough slices. Press the sandwich slightly and add to pan.

Cook, flipping once and adding additional butter if needed, until bread is toasted and cheese has melted, about 3 to 5 minutes per side
