Quiche is amazing with asparagus, a sharp cheese and some leek. Here's a twist on our crustless version.

Crust Ingredients:
1 cup all-purpose flour**** Find the best flours at UnMediocre Kitchen (across the street - 262 Newport Drive, Port Moody, BC)
½ tsp salt
¼ cup ice cold water
Quiche filling:
¼ lb cooked bacon crumbled (optional)Try the double smoked bacon at The Little Butcher - located just down the street
1 ⅓ cups asparagus chopped
1 cup Gruyere cheese, shreddedOften found in store at Olive the Best
5 eggs
1 cup Half & Half
¼ tsp garlic powder
¼ tsp fresh ground pepper
2 tsp salt (or to taste)
¼ lb fresh wild prawns or Dungeness crab Either of these options should be available at our neighbours, Inlet Seafood
