A timeless classic from our staff member Jan Robinson.
Dice apples and place in a large bowl.
Add remaining filling ingredients to the bowl and toss with the apples until well combined.
In a separate bowl, combine topping ingredients. The topping should resemble wet sand once mixed well.
Pour apple mixture into a small pie or casserole dish.
Cover evenly with the topping.
Bake at 350ºF for 55-60 minutes, or until the apples are bubbly and the top starts to brown.
Allow to cool for 15-20 minutes before serving.
Serve with ice cream and an extra drizzle of Olive the Best Cinnamon Pear Balsamic!
